| Is God Listening? by Dr. Andrew Steinmann |
Andrew Steinmann is Associate Professor of Theology, Philosophy and Foreign Languages at Concordia in University River Forest, Illinois. He is the author of The Oracles Of God. Why is it that so many times we feel that our prayers are going unanswered? Are we praying for the wrong things? Are we praying the wrong way? We are alone in these feelings and questions. The author examines several types of prayers from the Old and New Testaments. Using these prayers, he shows us a pattern for prayer we can use in our daily life. By understanding how and why people in the Bible prayed, we can learn to feel comfortable with our own prayers and realize that God is always listening. |
